I designed this suite of buttons to easily and clearly mark Creative Commons licensed, and public domain marked, creative works.

The buttons evolved out of the original Some Rights Reserved button, and launched with the release of the Creative Commons 3.0 licenses in 2006. Since then they have spread far and wide across the internet.

The CC logo was designed by Ryan Junell. My designs for CC Attribution, CC Zero, and Public Domain developed from this original concept over 2006–2010.
